At Medical Care, we believe that real rehabilitation goes far beyond treating physical symptoms. Our goal is to lead the field of integrative medicine in Israel and give patients complete care that sees the person as a whole. We don't just treat the injury or the illness; we accompany the patient on a journey to a better quality of life, knowing that true recovery begins with the inseparable connection between body, spirit and mind.

Our approach is based on a deep belief that body and mind are one. This is not an insight born of recent crises; it is the core on which the center was founded. Events such as the COVID-19 pandemic and the October 2023 war only sharpened and reinforced what we have known for years: emotional resilience and peace of mind are the most critical engines of growth for physical recovery. Only care that addresses all three dimensions at once enables a true return to routine.
The InHeal Method
The Science Behind Healing
At the heart of our work is the InHeal method, a groundbreaking integrative treatment method that has been clinically validated (in a Helsinki-approved study).
At the heart of our work is the InHeal method, based on a holistic protocol that combines tools from the HeartMath Institute in the US, personalized nutrition and resilience workshops. Every patient goes through a personal assessment on admission, including a quality of life questionnaire, after which a unique recovery plan is built for them. To date, more than 3,500 patients have been treated with the method and reported a dramatic improvement in their condition. We focus on neutralizing the emotional trauma that accompanies injury, knowing that it affects the pace of recovery.

What We Offer
Medical and Professional Units
Alongside emotional innovation, Medical Care is an advanced rehabilitation hospital that provides conventional medical care at the highest standards, with 240 inpatient beds in 7 departments, including:
• Young adult rehabilitation and geriatric rehabilitation.
• Care for chronically ventilated patients and complex nursing.
• Recovery after surgery, cardiac events and diabetes.
• A day rehabilitation institute and psychology clinics
• A gastroenterology institute (Best Medical) and a dialysis institute (Afek) in the hospital building.
Medical management is led by Dr. Tamara Brauner, a rehabilitation specialist who heads the hospital's professional medical services.

My Mission
A Word from the CEO -
Shauli Herzig Paz
My path in healthcare began 50 years ago, inspired by my parents, who founded a hospital with a vision of putting the person at the center. I managed the hospital alongside them for three decades, and through them I learned that truly high-quality medical services must include compassion and a deep understanding of the patient's needs.
Although my formal training is in law and management, my passion has always been to explore the missing link in traditional medicine: treating trauma. I recognized that trauma is often the silent barrier that prevents patients from recovering. From this recognition I developed my life's work: integrating the healing of body and mind as an integral part of the medical protocol.
Today, as the head of Medical Care and the IMFA Association (which works to advance integrative medicine in Israel), I am proud to offer our patients advanced medicine that empowers them and strengthens them from within. Our approach sees you as a whole, and we are here to accompany you through the full circle of rehabilitation.
