The department has a skilled team of physicians, nurses and expert professionals from a range of health fields. Working as a coordinated team, we examine each patient's unique needs in depth and build a personalized rehabilitation plan. The team includes experts in physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, social work and nutrition.

Who is the general rehabilitation department for?
The department serves patients aged 18 to 65 who need rehabilitation in a range of areas, including neurological injuries such as stroke and spinal cord injuries, orthopedic injuries such as fractures and joint injuries, and head trauma.
Which rehabilitation treatments are offered in the department?
The department offers multidisciplinary physiological rehabilitation including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, nutritional counseling and social work. Complementary medicine treatments such as acupuncture, reflexology, Bach flower remedies and emotional support are also provided.
What does a typical day in the department look like?
Physician rounds take place from 08:00-10:00. Rehabilitation therapy is given between 08:00-12:00. Breakfast is served at 08:00-09:00, lunch at 12:30-13:30 and dinner at 18:00-19:00. Afternoon rest hours are 13:00-16:00.
What are the department's visiting hours?
Patients may be visited every day of the week. Sunday to Friday: 10:00-13:00 and 16:00-20:00. Saturday: 10:00-13:00 and 16:00-21:00.
Is emotional support also available for families?
Yes. Family members receive emotional support and tools for coping with the challenges that come with their loved one's hospitalization. Family members are also invited to the introductory integrative rehabilitation workshops and resilience workshops. Complementary medicine treatments are also available to family members for an additional fee.
