Occupational therapy is one of the many paramedical treatments offered at Medical Care.
Occupational therapy is an integral part of the rehabilitation process that many patients undergo while hospitalized or in home care. It aims to improve quality of life and daily function for people of all ages dealing with physical, emotional, sensory, or cognitive challenges.
Occupational therapy at Medical Care is tailored to the individual needs of the patient, based on a comprehensive assessment. Treatment includes learning or relearning basic and complex functions, promoting independence in daily activities, working with family and caregivers, and integrating back into the community.

Who are the treatments for?
Treatment is provided to all patients in the various departments. As part of occupational therapy, treatment is also tailored to patients for functional rehabilitation and occupational activities, with guidance from occupational therapists in the different wards.
