A heart event is a life-changing experience, not only for the patient but also for their family and surrounding support system. Recovery after a heart event aims to restore health, regain physical and emotional stability, and prevent future incidents. In our recovery department, patients receive a variety of therapeutic treatments, including physical, emotional, and nutritional support, all designed to guide them toward a healthier life. Our approach combines physical activity, mental well-being, and structured guidance.

Our recovery department accepts patients from all hospitals across the country. This department is a dedicated first-stop rehabilitation facility for patients who have undergone heart surgery, catheterization, pacemaker placement, or any other heart-related intervention. It also supports patients recovering from complex physical or mental health conditions related to heart health, preparing them for a safe return to daily life and preventing future complications.

A comprehensive recovery framework following a heart event.
Our department offers a rehabilitation process aimed at preparing the patient and their family for a return to routine, work, and social life.
We see not only the physical injury but also the person behind the recovery process, acknowledging their mental and emotional state. As part of the first and leading integrative rehabilitation medical center in Israel, Medical Care, we provide our patients with a broad integrative rehabilitation program encompassing body, mind, and spirit. The goal is to promote and restore the patient’s health, educate for a healthy lifestyle, and incorporate physical activity and guidance into the recovery process.
The recovery program is tailored individually to help participants adapt to their medical condition, providing personalized multidisciplinary physical and emotional support to both the patient and their family members.
Patients receive comprehensive medical care in a supportive environment, delivered by a team of professionals with around-the-clock medical supervision and availability of doctors 24/7 throughout the recovery process.
The Medical Care team includes expert therapists specializing in a variety of fields, all working together to provide patients with personal and professional support. Each patient is assessed and receives a customized therapeutic plan that matches their unique health needs.

Our dedicated app (available for mobile) enables patients to track their recovery progress, receive tailored treatments, schedule appointments, and communicate with their healthcare providers. The app also offers video tutorials and educational content to assist patients and families in understanding and managing the recovery journey.
