Dr. Bar is an experienced physician who completed his medical studies at the University of Florence in Italy, where he conducted his thesis in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, researching the effects of broad-spectrum light versus blue light in phototherapy for neonatal jaundice.
He completed his internship at Sheba Medical Center (Tel HaShomer) and later specialized in geriatrics at Laniado Hospital in Netanya. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Bar led a hospital department at Laniado and subsequently managed the Geriatric Internal Medicine Department prior to joining Medical Care.
He also served as a senior physician in the Diabetic Foot Unit and in the Geriatric Surgery Department.
Dr. Bar completed his medical degree between 2007–2014 and participated in a student exchange program at the University of Zaragoza in Spain (2011–2012).
As part of his specialization, he conducted research on the correlation between TSH hormone levels and demographic characteristics among the elderly.
