Respiratory Care Department
The admission process in the department
Nursing Reception: Physical examination by nursing staff.
Physiotherapist examination: mobility, receiving assistive equipment.
Medical reception: Examination by a doctor, performing an EKG and providing treatment instructions.
Introductory meeting with the department's multi-professional staff during the first few days of admission.
During the first two weeks, a multidisciplinary team meeting is held, followed by a conversation with the patient and his family about the therapeutic goals and treatment plan.
Administrative reception at the Office of the Hospital Administrator and Collections
(Administration Building, 1st Floor). Must have a 7-digit ID.

Visiting hours:
You can visit the patients in the ward every day of the week during the regular visiting hours:
Sunday to Friday 10:00-13:00, 16:00-20:00. Saturday 10:00-13:00, 16:00-21:00.
Providing information to the patient or family members:
Upon admission of a patient to the department, the department staff will provide detailed information about the treatment plan. Families are invited to schedule a meeting with the treating team to receive updates on their family member.

Rehabilitation treatment:
08:00-12:00
Lunch break:
13:00-16:00
Meal times:
Breakfast: 08:00-09:00
Lunch: 12:30-13:30
Dinner: 18:00-19:00
Night meal according to the patient’s request.

Medical Ker Bat Yam is located about a 2-minute walk from the light rail station,
Ha’atzmaut Station (Kikar Mitzvah), which will allow you to conveniently reach Petah Tikva (Rabin Campus) and Tel Aviv
